Can't Tell Me Nothing Part 2- Recap

Okay so as I promised the recap of Can't Tell Me Nothing Part 2! Today is the big day for Katie and her soccer career. But will the pills get her through the game or will the entire plan crash through? As Katie is taking the pills out Maya comes into the kitchen and catches her and Katie told her that she would do her chores for a month if she didn't tell their mom. Maya agreed to it so Katie's secret is safe for now. Then when Fiona goes off on Katie and Merisol while planning the coffee house show she tells Katie how she is a lazy leader and is going to let the coffee house fail because she isn't working hard enough. Maybe it made Fiona feel better yelling at them after what they did. Then when Katie tried to help Jake set up the coffee house location she got on the machine and everything got out of hand. It was kind of suspenseful but she turned out okay. Katie goes off on Maya at school when Maya tells Katie how she is worried about Katie taking the medicine and playing the game. When Katie gets to the game and is getting ready to get on the field she notices that the pills were wearing off and her knee was starting to hurt again. Then when she tried to walk on something she fell down saying she heard something snap. So Katie is taken to the hospital and comes home on crutches. In this episode it looks like the only person who didn't get a very good ending was Katie, she is hurt and she didn't get on the soccer team. Maybe in the newer episodes Katie's plotline will get better. Did any of you like the song Jenna wrote? It was kind of… intense??? Hahaha. But even though K.C. made that poem about Jenna he only did it out of defense because he didn't want Jenna singing that song in front of everyone… come on how would you feel? Anyways, so Jenna decides to embarrass K.C. by singing a song "exposing" who he is to get back at him for the poem he said in class. So at the coffee house show she does end up singing the song and doesn't regret singing the song. But then after the show K.C. tells Jenna that he's glad she sang the song because she needs her own way to deal with the situation and getting over everything she went through. Looks like Jenna will get a few days of relieve from all the pressure she has been under since she got pregnant. Last time we saw this trio Tristan had offered that all three of them perform for the coffee house show. Tristan's way of trying to get all three of them to hang out so that Tori doesn't have to choose who to hang out with every time. So Tristan wrote another part for Zig so he could perform with them as well and Zig came back with another song where Zig would rap and Tristan would rap but Tristan didn't take it so well. The song is about the two of them fighting over Tori and the whole idea of the three of them performing the coffee house show was to bond not fight over. But Tori really likes Zig's song and wants to go with his song instead of Tristan's. Then when Owen (Tristan's older brother… still can't get over the fact!) sees Tristan alone and he finds out why he tells Tristan that the world is full of sharks and that you have to adapt to survive. Yeah, that's the advice Owen gives but at least he tried! But of course Tristan doesn't listen to his older brother's advise. Then later on Tristan ends up performing in the coffee house show even after Tori advises him not to that everyone will laugh at him. So as Tristan is on the stage singing and getting laughed at Tori decides to go up on the stage and sing with him. Then Tristan in his own way dares Zig to come up as well and they all three end up doing a little bit of both songs and got a little bit of a bonding experience out of it. So it looks like everything ended up okay for these three…. At least for now, it's Degrassi and nothing good can ever last forever. Hope the recap was worth the wait! Can't Tell Me Nothing Part 1- Recap

First let's start off with Katie Matlin.... In this episode of Degrassi Katie was trying out for the national team. But when she gets injured at tryouts she is willing to do about anything to get back on the field so she can keep trying out in order to get on the national team. So Drew tells Katie that she can see his sports doctor and she accepts. The doctor told Katie that she just had to rest until she got an MRI and that wouldn't be until next month. But of course the tryout are over by then so Katie doesn't want to go with that option. When she is at home Katie and her mom were talking about the tryouts and the team and Katie was helping her mom get her medicine out. When she asked her mom if she took the pills everyday her mom replied with a just only when I need them reply. So as soon as her mom leaves the room Katie takes some of the pills hoping that it will keep the pain away while the tryouts are happening. I think we can all see what is going to happen here... On to Jenna, we haven't heard really from Jenna this season until this episode and there is already some serious drama taking place. When Jenna asked K.C. for her song book back he agreed but also gave her back some of her baby things that she had for Ty. When I saw those photos I about cried too! It was sad and I can't imagine how Jenna was feeling because no matter what the situation it must suck giving up your baby. So who knows if we will see Ty again and what will happen with Jenna and K.C. But Ali is trying to help Jenna out of her post breakup mood by getting her to sing at the coffee house at the school. This might be an interesting story line. Before I didn't really like the whole story line for Jenna and K.C. but now it looks like it might be different from last time... Now for Tristan and Tori. Last episode Tori and Zig got back together. But where does that leave Tristan? Well that's what he wants to know as well! In the beginning of the episode his older brother Owen (I know right?!?!? Owen??? Who would have known!?!?!?) told Tristan to make up that Zig called Tori fat. But when he sees Tori start crying he caves right away. Later on he gets Zig and Tori to come to the Dot thinking that they both invited each other there. Tristan then apologizes for trying to break them up and says that they should all three perform at the coffee house. Tori and Tristan look so excited to be performing but Zig looks like he is just doing it so Tori won't be mad. I wonder what will happen later on, if Tristan is left out again, if Zig leaves because of Tori being friends with Tristan, or if Tori leaves Zig to stay with Tristan. Underneath It All Part 2

So let's get down to the point. This episode had a lot of endings and beginnings am I wrong? Let's first start with Fiona In Underneath It All Part 1 all the seniors at Fiona's party broke into the school (with Katie's key) and tin foiled everything in the cafe. Then when they all ran out because the custodial staff was coming Merisol came running in without Imogen. What we found out this week was that Imogen didn't just "skip down the hallway" like Merisol said but Merisol had locked Imogen in the theater while she was listening to her ipod and got caught. Then when Fiona found out that Imogen had gotten a suspension for a MONTH and indefinite probation she had to tell Mr. Simpson that Imogen wasn't the only one to blame and that about 2o other people were there with Imogen that night. So Merisol agreed a little to easily saying she would be there when Fiona told Mr. Simpson everything and Katie also agreed. But when they showed the three of them in Mr. Simpson's office Merisol told Mr. Simpson that Fiona was the only other person to blame and not her and Katie. So Fiona got a suspension for a week and indefinite probation. Fiona apologized to Imogen and in the end everything was okay between them and we left them laughing and having fun together (even though they were cleaning the cafe on the weekend lol) Now on to Zig and Maya. Zig made it seem like that he liked liked Maya and Maya believed that also. When he had told her about him and Torrey she was okay about it but then Torrey seemed to get a little jealous and SPIT (yes that was really gross!) and Maya tackled Tori and they began to fight! Ms. O of course sent them to Mr. Simpson's office and they both got suspended for a week (I think?) And in Mr. Simpson's office (after he left) Tori started to cry saying that she needed closure and wanted to know what had happened between her and Zig. So Maya told him about what Tori had said and he told Maya that he guess he just wanted to not have a girlfriend to start off high school in case he met someone cool. So afterwards Zig comes out and Maya said that she thought he was standing her up and it turned out... he was. He was just telling her about it. Tori and Zig had talked through the problem and had gotten back together! I felt so bad for Maya because Zig was TOTALLY leading her own the entire time and then just threw her out like he would trash! This will be an interesting year..... Clare and Jake... Happens all the time this situation. Clare wanted to have sex with Jake and he rejected her and she got her feelings hurt. Then in the ending of the episode Clare told Jake that maybe they should break up since they would have to do it anyways because of their parents being married and all (that's what he used as a defense for rejecting her) So ya that's it they are broken up for now and that means more of a chance for Eli and Clare! YAYAYAY! Sorry Cake lovers!

Underneath It All Recap

Okay so the first episode of Degrassi: New Beginnings was amazing! Who can disagree? First we have new friendships, new looks, and new drama! Let's start with the freshmans that we met. Tori and Tristan(Tristan by the way is also Owen's younger brother) are best friends already. But also seem like the pair of freshmans that will cause the most trouble. Zig is that new freshman hottie, at least to Maya Matlin who is Katie Matlin's sister. So in the beginning of the episode Maya and Zig bump into each other while trying to find their classes. But when Zig talks to Maya he asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend. So she does being on the spot and all, and after other freshmans walk past them Zig asks Maya to meet him at the Dot after school. But when Maya finally finds her music class she sits down and over hears Tristan and Tori talking about Zig and wondering where he is. When Maya tells them that he is in art they both tell her not to get involved with Zig because he is a heart breaker. But with those two who knows whether or not it's true. Katie tells Maya that Tori and Tristan are probably just jealous of Maya and to get to know Zig first before believing what she hears about him. When school we find Maya at the Dot waiting for Zig to meet her. Zig comes running in apologizing for being late. Maya tells Zig that she met some of his old "friends" that went to junior high and told him it was Tori and Tristan. Zig got this look on his face like there was some definite history behind those two with him included. But Zig asked Maya time for him to explain. Maya happily agreed and that's where we left them for this episode. Fiona has been through a lot last season and at the end of Degrassi: Now or Never she put herself into rehab. She makes an entrance as a new person (or so she thinks) and says that this year things will be different. I think I remember her saying that before.... maybe not though. Anyways, she quickly makes friends with Merisol and Katie and the all three plan a party together. Imogen and Eli over hear the phone conversation that Fiona is having about the party and Fiona is "cornered" into inviting Imogen. So of course you know how this turns out with Merisol and Katie. But when Imogen comes over to Fiona's house before the party she is dressed in some unique clothing. Fiona doesn't want to be embarrassed so she gives Imogen one of her dresses to wear telling Imogen that this way it will be one thing that people won't laugh at. When the party starts to play truth or dare Owen asks Fiona truth or dare and Fiona takes dare. But what Fiona didn't know that Owen would make her chug alcohol. When Fiona hesitates and everyone starts making fun of her Imogen tries to make them stop saying that Fiona was an alcoholic but everyone told her that it wasn't funny to make something up like that and instead of Fiona telling everyone it was true she went along with everyone else asking Imogen why she would say something like that. So for another distraction to delay the dare Fiona makes a suggestion saying that they should do something else and Drew suggests pranking Degrassi. So everyone from the party puts tin foil all over everything in the cafeteria as a senior prank and when Imogen and Merisol go to look around the school Drew runs in saying that the custodians were coming and that they had to get out of there before they were caught. When Merisol comes running back without Imogen Fiona asks what happened to her and Merisol said she skipped down the hall before she could stop her. So Fiona and everyone else left the building without Imogen saying that she was on her own. In this episode of Degrassi Clare wants to see if Jake is "emotionally" prepared to have sex. Now does anyone else think it's a little weird to be in that situation putting into consideration that they are step siblings?! Anyways, when Clare tests Jake she gets mad that he isn't take it seriously and Jake doesn't know what to say because he thinks that the questions are stupid. Clare asks him how will she know when to have sex with him if he couldn't take this seriously and Jake replied saying that she will just know when and that taking a test won't give the answer as to when to have sex. But Clare didn't really like that answer and storms up the stairs telling him that she couldn't believe she ever thought she wanted to have sex with him. So there is the first recap of the season for Degrassi: New Beginnings! I am so happy that Degrassi is back on and from now on the new episodes will be on Friday at 9 p.m.!
